SAN JOSE — Hoping to reduce the risk of another flood like the one last week that caused at least $73 mill. damage and the evacuation of 14,000 people in San Jose, the Santa Clara Valley Water District is drawing up whole new flood control plans for Coyote Creek.

“Honestly at the time I thought we did communicate it well,” he said. “But clearly we have some work to do.”
