SAN JOSE — Lawyers in the capital trial of the man accused of killing missing teen Sierra LaMar continued Wed to debate the validity of the DNA evidence, offering diametrically opposed analyses of the data and what it means to the case.

Prosecutor David Boyd is relying heavily on DNA in the “no body” case to prove his theory that Antolin Garcia-Torres kidnapped and killed Sierra. The 15-year-old disappeared nearly 5 years ago on the person way to that person school bus stop in the rural community north of Morgan Hill.
